I use a soft but thick garment leather, wrapped around a thicker leather core. In order to have no metal on the inside, I hand stitch this 2 inch high collar. This is my softest yet strongest collar yet. The rounded edges are very comfortable for short or long term wear and you will notice the weight of it right away.
